Bobby Milroy — Co-Chair of the Organizing Committee

Bobby Milroy is the President of ClearOne Badminton and the Chairman of the Badminton world Federation Athletes Commission. He is a former Canadian Champion in the Mens Singles Category and the highest-ever ranked Canadian Mens singles player at #18 in the world.

Bobby was the Co-chair of the 2004 Badminton Revolution and the lead organizer to the 2009 World Champions exhibition at the C2 Badminton Centre and the 2009 Olympic exhibition at the Capilano University.

Darryl Yung — Chair of Hall Operations

Darryl Yung is the Founder and CEO of the ClearOne Badminton Centres. He is a former Olympian, a Pan American Champion and Canadian National Champion in Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Darryl was co-chair of the Badminton Revolution event at the Calgary Round-Up Centre in 2004 and consultant to the 2009 Racket Rally at the Richmond Oval.

Robert Wilson — Chair of Media and Communications

Robert Wilson was the founder of multiple software developments and projects, during the late 80's and early 90’s.

After working in New York, Monaco, LA and Orlando, Robert moved to Vancouver to found the Falls Golf Course, at which he is the principal owner and Director.

Robert is a masters badminton competitor and a history of supporting badminton events through sponsorship and involvement.

Edward Li — Chair of Volunteers Committee

Edward Li is an engineer and has held various management positions in the high technology industry across Canada. He is also a director of the Lower Mainland Badminton Association. LMBA organizes tournaments and promotes badminton in the Vancouver Lower Mainland. Edward is an engineering graduate from UBC and holds a MBA from McGill.

Arak Bhokanandh — Chair of Sales and Marketing

Arak Bhokanadh is a managing computer programmer with Telligence Design and was formerly of Accenture consultants.

Arak relocated from the London office to Vancouver where he now plays competitively and coaches several of BC’s elite juniors.

Arak is passionate about sport and has dedicated countless volunteer hours in Badminton, football and others to improve the quality and finance available to elite athletes.

Chris Johnstone — Chair of Hospitality

Chris Johnstone is a graduate from Queens University with several years experience in the entertainment industry. He is currently a business owner and financial advisor, while dedicating much spare time in the event organizing field.

Chris is a life long badminton player who competed at the national junior level and now trains and coaches at the Vancouver lawn and Tennis club in Vancouver, B.C.

Anthony Mark — Corporate Sales and Strategic Development

Anthony Mark is a self-made entrepreneur and has a variety of business interests in Canada and the USA.

He has owned a full-service advertising agency in Vancouver, worked in the Sales and Marketing of the BC Lions Football Club and co-produced the Vancouver BrewMasters Festival.

Anthony looks forward to selling and consulting with the Canada Open 2011 and to helping it grow into a premiere annual event for the city.
